Open Road RV Sales was founded in 2001 by Robert and Linda Hargrove, two lifelong travelers who spent years searching for a dealership that truly understood the Class A buyer. Frustrated by generalist lots that treated motorhomes as just another product, they opened their own — specializing exclusively in the coaches they loved.
From the beginning, the philosophy was simple: know every coach on the lot better than anyone else. That meant factory tours, hands-on training with every manufacturer, and a commitment to only stocking coaches they would personally drive across the country.
Twenty-five years later, that philosophy hasn't changed. We've sold over 500 coaches, built relationships with Tiffin, Newmar, and Entegra at the highest levels, and earned a reputation that brings buyers from across the Southwest to our Austin showroom.
